2020 COLUMBIA AND WILLAMETTE RIVER SPRING SALMON SEASONS


 

WILLAMETTE RIVER : Open 7 days a week, 2 hatchery Chinook a day, barbed hooks are allowed.

 
 

COLUMBIA RIVER: Per permanent regulations, open below warrior rock until  – February 29 one Chinook Salmon per day.

 

– Above Warrior rock open March 1 through 31 one Chinook Salmon per day.

 

– Closed on April 2nd for one day only!

 

– Opens April 3rd Three days a week Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only. until a quota of 2900 Spring Chinook Salmon have been caught.

 

– A Columbia River compact meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday April 15th to discuss more fishing opportunities if the allocation hasn’t been met.

 
 

This approach allows for more fishing days in April which should be the best opportunity to catch a Columbia River Spring Chinook!

 

2 hatchery fish daily bag limit, of which only one may be a Chinook. Beacon  rock to Bonneville dam is open to bank angling only.
 

Above Bonneville dam opens April 1st through May 5th one Chinook Salmon per day.
